Don Valley

Parkway

Roadside Clean Up

June 2, 2024

DON’T MESS WITH THE DVP!!

Last year we made history by holding the first very clean up of the Don Valley Parkway in partnership with the City of Toronto. In 2024 we’re doing it again bigger and better than before.

On June 2nd 2024, the DVP will be closed for a charity bike ride, meaning that it will be safe to clean up the green spaces which border the DVP. Many of these areas have been neglected for a long time and are inaccessible while there is vehicle traffic present so despite us cleaning up last year, we know there’s lots more garbage to be removed.

We will be cleaning up in four locations stretching from Queen all the way to Don Mills! See details below. Great refreshments and incredible satisfaction for all plus as an awesome bonus all volunteers will receive an original red "We are going to change the world" Don't Mess with the Don t-shirt. FREE! If you already have one then please bring it with you. Anyone who doesn’t want to keep their t-shirt can return it to us at the end of the event for washing and reuse!

Garbage bags and gloves will be provided, just make sure to wear long pants, sturdy shoes, a hat and sunscreen.
