Our Fifth Anniversary
Don’t Mess with the Don’s Fifth Anniversary
by Lawrence Warriner
On April 18, 2023 Don’t Mess with the Don celebrated its fifth anniversary. Five wonderful years that have been shared amongst so many.
DMWTD is hope realized. The incredible hard work and commitment of impossibly dedicated volunteers have made DMWTD one of the answers to the question of how can just one person make a difference. You showed us how to impact a world facing the challenges of climate change, how to fight back against the loss of habitat, and, equally importantly, how to find some of the community we seem to have lost.
You are the bubbling stream free of plastics, you are the child’s delight at seeing a bee, you are the native flower planted for all to see. We came to save a forest and wound up saving ourselves.
There is so much good that has happened and DMWTD has launched many new initiatives that have roots in your support. There is so much more on the horizon that we hope to soon share. Person-by-person, a stranger to a friend and a world made better. You are and we are Don’t Mess with the Don.
Thank you.
